XLimage® is a software which allows Internet or intranet users to immediately show images at high solution interactively, without necessity of browser plug-in or specific software.
Especially for this area, XLimage® offers the possibility of publishing large-sized radiological images to allow remote access for specialized consultation purposes, tele-didactics with data bank, reference case, study and research.
For this type of application, digital watermarking is not suitable, but other forms of visitor tracking and content management is advisable. Due to the nature of the information and the type of service bound to privacy and delicacy of the exchanged data, it is suggested an architecture with cryptography features and secure transmission channel; moreover it would be welcome on client-side a "closed" solution like XLapplet (a Java Applet).

Milan Lab is the center of Scientific Research for high technological content strongly wanted by the Milan Football Association, active since July 2002.
