XLimage® is the Internet image server designed by Centrica.
XLimage® allows all Internet/intranet/2,5G/3G users to view high resolution images quickly and interactively; it is therefore an ideal product for all the suppliers of rich contents from the visual point of view.
Main features of XLimage® are:
- Optimal performances also with connections to low speed (modem, GPRS...).
- Visualization through most common browsers (Microsoft Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator - 4 or successive versions, Mozilla Firefox) without need of plug-ins.
- Colour management system for high chromatic fidelity.
- Integrated image watermarking technology for copyright protection. Digital watermarks can be included in the original images or in the single served images.
- Available for platform Windows (2000/Xp/2003 Server), Linux.
- The access to the server can be realized directly, through interfaces PHP or the new Closer® interface.
