Digital Imaging 
Know now and digital image quality have always been a winning factor for Centrica. Company's staff has many decades of combined experience in advanced digital, traditional and special technique photography.
These skills have developed in years of ground-breaking experience collaborating with high-end, world-class companies and institutions, such as the Uffizi Gallery, Nikon Instruments Europe, Phase One Corporation of Denmark, Toppan Printing Co. Ltd of Japan.

The service covers the following typologies and capture modes:

Direct digital capture

Direct digital captures is a special know-how for Centrica; an increasing number of our clients now request digital-only photography.
For the rapidity of the image use in multimedia applications or with particular software, compact digital cameras or medium format cameras are employed, with a resolution of 4,000 x 4,000 pixels producing 48Mb size files.
To obtain maximum image quality, quite superior even compared to large format film, a precision view camera is employed, equipped with a 12,000 x 10,000 pixel digital, that produce files of around 350Mb.
These cameras are also equipped with special high resolution lenses.
The resolution of the resultant image allows to easily see details such as a fingerprint and other minute details which are imperceptible with a naked eye. There are just a few of such piece of hardware currently operating in the world.

  An almost daily usage of these extraordinary technological tools represents a considerable added value for Centrica's clients.

Traditional film photography

Traditional film photography is carried on utilizing the best equipment on the market as well as next generation prototypes.
Image capture formats range from 35mm to 8" x 10" depending on the object and on the client's quality specifications.
Centrica's equipment comprises a range of accessories enabling the fulfillment of any request, from microscopic photography and reproductions to the HMI high frequency lighting units for a combined output of above 36,000 watt.
